My views on this topic basically conform to the issue of not being judgmental I say to each his own.
I know several gay people and some who have yet to feel comfortable to allow others to know the truth about their orientation. No they do not have to yell it from the rafters, but if they can’t be honest with their own family or have the support of their family, which is an issue that greatly saddens me. I love folks unconditionally, I may not like everything they say or do, and it doesn’t lessen my feelings for them. Frankly, because I know several young people who have struggled with their sexuality my heart pains knowing how judgmental and homophobic their family and even my family can be and knowing they have to suppress who they are hurts me, because they can’t be their genuine self.
Gay Marriage? Why not? It isn’t hurting me. No sin is greater than the other.
